P90X...love or hate?


It's official. I've jumped on the P90X bandwagon. After much hesitation, I started the workouts yesterday, and boy am I paying for it right now. My body is in so much pain. Well...more so my ARMS are in so much pain. After doing a gajillion push ups, I'm surprised that my arms are still attached to my body. It hurts just to drink water! Ugh! But...I'm determined to keep going. My brothers started last summer and were able to see some pretty good results. So, we'll see how this goes. Tony Horton will be my best friend and worst enemy the next couple of months.

yeah we heard it's legit too. iasi is getting a pirated copy (shhhh don't tell) so we're going to try the workouts too :) let me know how it goes for you after the first few weeks k?

wow! I would love to do that but I'm too out of shape to even attempt it...right now I'm going to concentrate on ten minute trainer with tony! Can't wait to see how you'll look!

YOU CRAZY! LOL! I started it last year and couldn't keep up with it. Rayna was the master but then again, she was fit before so she no count. Then my husband jumps on da BeachBody wagon and for some foolish reason buys P90X+. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!? Needless to say the dvd picked up more weight (dust). I'll get back on any bandwagon post-baby though. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yay! we can be p90x partners! Misi and I love (and hate) p90x (hey, we had this conversation at camp didn't we) lol...Although ours was only p60x rather than 90!

I heard that that is SO HANG. Good luck with that! Maybe if I'm brave enough in the future, I'll try it.

The trick is to not get all the results in the first week! You need to take it easy for the first week or two so you don't hurt yourself, you don't get hurt, and you don't get discouraged. Showing up is half the battle... then by Day 21, you will be ready to BRING IT. But now, it's not yet about bringing it. Just get familiar. Soreness means the muscle confusion is working. But it shouldn't be muscle-torture!

Now, is it possible you could join us March 7th for a massive online workout, and help get the word out?

I want to get leaders like you to the Beachbody WOWY Gym (www.wowy.com) to break the record of people working out at the same time, Saturday March 7th at 11AM ET/8AM PT.

It would be great if you can make it and bring some people with you!

Anyway -- keep up the great work. And thanks for being a part of the end of a trend!
